About Us

Dr. Michael Keller, owner and chief psychologist, is a licensed clinical psychologist with hospital privileges at the University of Minnesota Medical Center–Fairview and Fairview Lakes-Wyoming Hospital.
As a private practice therapist, experienced emergency room clinician and former clinical director of a large, multi-site, multi-county mental health clinic, Dr. Keller is an innately eloquent communicator resonant in clinical skill and provider of comprehensive psychological services for individuals, couples and families in an outpatient setting. With a research background in mental health crisis interventions, trauma and resiliency, Dr. Keller utilizes a holistic approach to treatment drawn from the construct of resiliency, cognitive-behavioral therapies and solutions-based therapies. 
In addition to his general practice, Dr. Keller is a provider of services to many members of various public safety organizations. With many years of service as a former police officer in both city and rural departments coupled with advanced training and extensive clinical experience, Dr. Keller is exceptionally adept in his capacity to affect positive change in the lives of law enforcement officers/public safety workers and their families. Dr. Keller presently works with many officers of all ranks and their families from agencies across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Dr. Keller provides individual and couples/family psychological services to the men and women of law enforcement and their families. Additionally, Dr. Keller has served as an expert witness in fitness for duty hearings on behalf of both officers as well as law enforcement agencies. In addition, he is often called upon to provide Critical Incident Debriefings when members of public safety services are involved in traumatic events. Dr. Keller is a freelance writer and frequent contributor to the Minnesota Peace and Police Officer Association Journal(MPPOA).

Dr. Keller contributed to the book Making Marriage a Success: Pearls of Wisdom from Experts Across the Nation.
